The bad news is I haven't blogged in awhile. A long while. Okay, forever. The good news is, I've been busy getting inky! Here are my latest creations. Enjoy! =o)

Home

I decided to break away from the girls on this one. I really like how it turned out- there is a ton going on in there! Almost too much, but is there really such a thing? I have to give props to my friend Rachel for the shutters idea. Love how those turned out and it was the perfect opportunity to add a little complementary color to the house.

Mini-She

I've been wanting to make a little She for awhile, and yesterday I found little canvas sheets, 2.5 x 3.5, at Michaels. Here she is! Sorry for the blurry pic... she's still cute. :)

Happy Valentine's Day!

I have been seeing hexagons everywhere, and I've really been wanting to use them on my own stuff. So... Happy Valentine's Day!

Supplies used (I actually know this time!): All paper is by My Mind's Eye; stamps and ink by Close To My Heart; ribbon- hmmm... :); glitter by Ranger! (love me some Stickles!)

Rainbow Girl

It's hard to find time to and/or energy to craft with a little one around. She's so cute- such a distraction! I actually finished this particular girl awhile ago. My husband says she's creepy, but I was going for a tiny bit of creep. I saw some melted crayon art on Pinterest and had to make my own. =o)

Feeling a little cheesy... and sassy!

There are so many things I love about today: the crisp cold weather, the smell of the freshly cut Christmas trees being set up on the corner, baking cinnamon struesel coffee cake for breakfast, chilling in my jammies doing laundry, and a photo shoot of my girl. Well, the last one didn't turn out so well. See, my best friend takes some truly awesome photos of her baby girl, and I am more of an informal snapshot kinda gal. But I was inspired by all the cute outfits, hats, and socks Kayla has, and we didn't have any other plans so we went for it. We did get a few good shots, like this one:

But here's a few other shots to show you how the session truly went:

My intention was to get some pictures like Jessica's, as seen here... I missed by a mile! =o)
